Sarnia gallery opens second exhibit in Re View series on First Friday

The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is moving ahead with its second exhibition of a series that was launched last year to commemorate its 10 year anniversary.

The gallery marked the milestone in November 2022 with the launch of "Re View" and the second exhibit of the series will open on Friday, February 3.

"The second Re View exhibition is a deliriously bright and immersive experience featuring the paintings of Canadian modernist painter, and founder of Painters Eleven, William Ronald," read a media release. "The exhibition will include an all-ages audio tour specially crafted to enhance the visitor experience."

Four exhibitions will follow the latest installment over the next year and a half.

Curator Sonya Blazek previously said it took about two years to prepare for the launch of the Re View series. The gallery's permanent collection will be highlighted and accompanying audio tours were written and voiced by volunteers.

The gallery will be open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on February 3 for First Friday.
