Provincial police are encouraging residents to report suspected impaired drivers after a traffic complaint on Highway 402 led to the arrest of a 65-year-old Sarnia man.
Members of Middlesex OPP were called to Highway 402 near Kerwood Road in Adelaide Metcalfe, shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13.
A vehicle was found parked on the shoulder of the eastbound side of the highway.
The driver was taken to the Middlesex OPP detachment and later charged with operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
