Lambton College nominates six alumni for Premier's Awards

Lambton College has announced its nominees for this year's Premier's Awards.

Six alumni are being recognized by the Sarnia campus; Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Chief Bill Boyes, content creator and mental health advocate Danielle Catton, Roo and You Founder and CEO of Helen Smith, Paradox Images Creative Director and Co-Owner Matthew Dochstader, Enactus Lambton Coordinator Megan Rizzo-Naus, and Lambton College welding program coordinator Nikki Noble.

Lambton College President and CEO Rob Kardas said they're proud to recognize the impact their alumni have in their communities and in their professions.

“These six inspiring individuals continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, integrity, leadership and caring, all respected values of Lambton College," said Kardas. "They have set an extraordinary example for our current students, and they are outstanding ambassadors of the College. My congratulations to all of them on receiving this prestigious nomination.”

The Premier’s Awards are hosted by Colleges Ontario in honour of the important social and economic contributions that graduates make to Ontario and throughout the world.

Nominees are selected by each college and one winner will be chosen across seven categories.

A ceremony will be held November 28 in Toronto.
