Show and Sale meets $60K goal

The 49th annual Big Show and Sale has raised thousands of dollars for youth programming at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.

The annual fundraiser was held this past weekend at Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School. It was the first Show and Sale event held at full capacity since 2019.

The organization reached it's goal of raising $60,000 during the weekend event, read a Facebook post.

Just over $50,000 was raised during last year's Show and Sale.

Approximately 3,200 patrons attended the weekend event which included over 100 vendors.

"The crowd was exceptional, the vibe was wonderful and it was so amazing to be together again," read a Big Brothers Big Sisters' Facebook post.

Executive Director Kaylen Burgess previously said the organization, along with lead sponsor Catherine Wilde and Fleck Law, will begin planning for next year's 50th annual Show and Sale soon.
