Some World Series memorabilia may need to be added to a new exhibit at the Moore Museum if the Philadelphia Phillies continue their impressive postseason run.
A display honouring Corunna native and Phillies manager Rob Thomson was recently erected at the site.
Museum Assistant Kari Boone said it was a vision of Thomson's friend Rick Corner.
"So he lent us a few jerseys, pictures and memorabilia, and we have purchased an autographed baseball and a program from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame."
Thomson and the Phillies face the San Diego Padres in Game One of the NLCS Tuesday night. The winner of the best-of-seven series will head to the World Series.

While the timing of the exhibit is lining up with the Phillies recent success, Boone said the idea for the display came about a few years ago.
"It's been in the works for a while but COVID-19 hit and it got put on the backburner for the time being," she said. "And then it picked up again at the end of the summer."
Prior to his coaching career with the New York Yankees and now the Phillies, Thomson spent his early years in Corunna.
"And then he progressed through college ball, signed on with the Detroit Tigers after being drafted in the 32nd round," said Boone. "And then all the way up to interim manager with the Phillies, and now with the interim removed, full manager for the next two years, which is fantastic."
The 59-year-old Thomson was named the Phillies interim manager in June, when the team fired Joe Girardi. The "interim" tag was dropped from Thomson's title earlier this month.
The Moore Museum, located at 94 Moore Line in Mooretown, is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
