A small kitchen fire was extinguished quickly thanks to a speedy response from Sarnia firefighters Wednesday.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue Services responded to a semi detached home in the 200 block of Trudeau Drive after 10 a.m.
The department said firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to the rest of the structure and adjoining unit.
Sarnia police responded to the scene as well.
Further details about the fire, including possible injuries and cause, were not immediately available.
