New Warwick Township logos have been developed and the municipality wants to know what residents think about them.
Economic Development and Promotions Officer Stephanie Cattrysse revealed them to council earlier this week.
"The last several months we've been working with CR Creative in Wyoming to develop a refreshed version of our existing logo, so council should have the two options that we narrowed down to," said Cattrysse.
A Facebook poll is planned and residents without access to the social media platform will be able to vote on their favourite option by visiting the municipal office.
"I think having an option aside from just the Facebook page would be a good idea and also a good way to spread the message of what we're doing," said Mayor Jackie Rombouts.
She was impressed by the designs.
"Personally, I think that they look really nice. I liked how you included different buildings from all over the municipality, so it will be interesting to see what the public thinks."
The clipart landscape includes the Warwick Community Hall and Fire Department building, the Warwick General Store, Watford Carnegie Library and the old Watford Fire Hall and Museum.
Councillor Wayne Morris asked that residents who prefer the status quo be included too.
"I'd like to include an option of no change and have the existing one [logo] on there," said Morris. "If they don't want a change, I think they should have that choice."
