The stage is set for Revelree at Canatara Park

Canatara Park will be home to Sarnia's latest outdoor concert event this weekend.

Revelree kicks off Friday afternoon with up-and-coming musicians, including local acts Hayden Mellon and Bad Men Association.

"From Revelree's perspective in general, every year that we want to do this, we want to make sure we give emerging artists an opportunity to play in front of some big crowds and that festival experience," said Festival Director Scott Palko.

He said on-top of the live music there will be food vendors and other activities.

"It's a day event and we're going to have all of the amenities necessary for people to be able to enjoy a great day of music," said Palko. "It's such a beautiful park and everyone in this area either loves it or people come to experience it, so to have a festival there I think is going to be really exciting."

On Saturday, Sarnia's own Donovan Woods, Canadian artists Blue Rodeo, Big Wreck, Bedouin Soundclash and Texas King as well as American favourites Red Wanting Blue take to the stage.

General admission tickets on Friday are $20, $89 for Saturday.

On both Friday and Saturday, re-entry to the festival will be permitted to those who leave the festival before 6 p.m. If you arrive after 6 p.m., you will not be permitted re-entry.
