BorderFest organizers plan to speak more with agencies in August in order to get a better idea of who's available for next year's summer concert series.
This year's Bluewater BorderFest was held in June at Sarnia’s Centennial Park.
Headliners for the three-day event included The Tea Party, Sam Roberts Band, Alessia Cara, Marianas Trench, Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, and Sloan.
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton Executive Director Mark Perrin said overall it was a successful event and Saturday's show (featuring Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, and Sloan) sold out.

"We already have a lot of the agencies -- and the music community has reached out on how successful the event was and want to work with us to grow it for the future," he said.
Total numbers and the amount raised is still being tallied. Perrin said attendance was "in the thousands."
"This was the first time we've had the pop element on Friday night. The rock element has been great for us, that's something that we look to grow but one piece we missed this year was the country piece, I think that's something we're going to take a look at. Really it comes down to artist availability."
There will be a Bluewater BorderFest held next year, however, planning is still in the early stages. Perrin said at this point, organizers are working to confirm dates and look at artist availability.
"It's always kind of daunting to start from scratch on a new event for the future but [there's] a lot of excitement from this year and we're looking to put everything together and keep growing it for years to come."
Perrin hopes an announcement about performers will be made by the end of the year.
