Lambton College student run restaurant reopens

Lambton College's Culinary students are taking residents around the world.

Technologist at Capstones Chef's Table Kerri Fransham said students are inviting residents to enjoy a gourmet themed evening.

"Every week has a different international theme," said Fransham. "We are doing France, Italy, South America, Canada, just a real variety of different countries. Each week it's two night's with two different menus."

Fransham said the student run restaurant, formerly known as Creations, has been closed to the public since the start of the pandemic.

"The dining room has been rebranded as Capstones this year, which is the culmination of all of their learning, practical and theoretical. This is it, this is where they put it all to work and practice and reopen to the public. It's just really exciting for them and us who see them doing it, and for them of course to have this opportunity."

Residents can book a seating for $65 until August 11.

To make reservations and view the menu, visit the Lambton College's website www.lambtoncollege.ca/capstones, or call 519-542-7751 extension 4050.
