The cause of a fire Sunday at a heritage building in Petrolia is still under investigation.
Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Chief Jay Arns said crews responded to a structure fire on Petrolia Line shortly before 11:30 a.m.
He said crews were able to make quick entry and get a fast knockdown of the blaze.
No injuries were reported and damage is estimated at $100,000.
Arns said the blaze could have been a lot worse.
"Heritage buildings are a challenge in themselves due to their age and construction materials," said Arns. "There were also a lot of files and boxes of papers in the lawyer's office, but crews were able to keep the fire from spreading through the entire structure."
Plympton-Wyoming fire crews also assisted with the call.
