Police seize nearly $25K worth of cocaine and cash

Two men from the Greater Toronto Area face drug trafficking charges after Sarnia police seized nearly $15,000 worth of cocaine and about $10,000 in currency.

For the past several months, the service's Vice Unit had been investigating parties from the GTA who were believed to be supplying large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine in Sarnia.

Police connected the drug trafficking to a Wallaceburg resident, leading to a search of a home on Arnold Street and several vehicles Saturday at around 5:10 a.m.  Once inside, officers located the two suspects and took them into custody without incident.

As a result of the search, officers located 123.9 grams of cocaine with a street value of $14,857, .76 grams of fentanyl with a street value of approximately $200, and $9,995 in Canadian currency.

Raphael Sean Baker, 23, from Toronto, and Raymond Anderson Collymore, 21, of Ajax, each face two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Both men have since been released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in court next month.
