UPDATE: Suspect in custody after bodies found in Enniskillen, Sarnia

Lambton OPP say they have a suspect in custody after the discovery of two dead bodies December 28.

Officers were called just before 2:30 p.m. regarding a suspicious person on Crooked Road in Enniskillen Township.

Police said human remains were discovered in the area which then led them to a home on Watson Street in Sarnia, where a second body was found.

The investigation is being conducted under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) in partnership with Sarnia Police Service (SPS), the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.

The Sarnia Police Service command post remained on scene on Watson Street throughout the day Wednesday.

Police don’t believe there are any concerns for public safety at this time.
