Sarnia-Lambton COVID cases up four, active infections down two

Lambton Public Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

In its daily update, the health unit reported the caseload since the start of the pandemic has reached 4,372. The number of resolved cases increased by five to 4,258 and the death toll is up one to 77, lowering the number of active infections by two to 37.

On Monday, Bluewater Health reported the latest death at the hospital was a woman in her 80s.

There are four COVID-positive patients at the hospital, down two from Monday.

There are three active outbreaks in the community, unchanged.
