Sting back in action for two games this weekend

After taking three of a possible four points against Windsor to open the OHL season, the Sarnia Sting return to the ice for a pair of games this weekend.

They head to Kitchener to face the Rangers (2-0-0-0) on Friday before hosting the London Knights (3-0-0-0) on Saturday.

Head Coach Alan Letang said it's always fun to play at The Aud in Kitchener.

"We want to follow up this past weekend by tightening a few things up in our defensive zone," said Letang. "Going into The Aud, it's probably the second or third best building to go into and play on a Friday night. It'll be fun for our kids to go in and experience that. I know a lot of our kids are from the Toronto area so they will have family and friends in the stands."

As for London, Letang expects a fast team that's strong in net and tough to play against.

"I expect a pretty physical game, a game that's up and down the ice. They play fairly tight defensively and hopefully we can limit their scoring chances and create a few of our own by managing the puck properly and not creating turnovers at the blueline. I'm looking forward to a big weekend, I think we'll see some exciting hockey."

As always, you can hear every game live on CHOK with Leigh Cunningham and Patrick DesRochers.
