Outdoor Fusion 2.0 to go rain or shine

Fusion 2.0 is set to be held outdoors in Petrolia this Saturday, rain or shine.

The popular food and alcohol show is one of the largest fundraising events for Lambton County Developmental Services.

Event coordinator Elaina Burr said they're "super excited" to be back after last year's event was cancelled.

"We decided to move it outdoors because we can have more people outside following COVID protocols, rather than indoors," said Burr. "We felt it was a little safer for this year."

Burr said there are two time slots and 500 tickets were available for each.

"The evening is sold out and in the afternoon we still have, I think, 200 tickets available."

Fusion 2.0 is being held at the Petrolia farmers market pavilion behind the library.

"We also rented a big tent and I'm very thankful we did, because looking at the forecast we could get some rain."

13 vendors are participating.
