Man stabbed during fight, two charged

A 26-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing Tuesday night in Sarnia.

Police said the victim attended a home on Royal Crescent at around 7 p.m. to allegedly confront the residents regarding ongoing issues.

It's alleged he entered the backyard and encountered one of the occupants, at which point the situation escalated into a physical altercation. Police said as the clash continued, another male resident became involved.

It was noticed that the 26-year-old was injured and bleeding after a fourth man broke up the fight.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Lambton EMS.

Police said two Sarnia men, Austin Crowe, 27, and Jesse Mitchell Crowe, 25, each face one count of aggravated assault. They've been released from custody, and are scheduled to appear in court on November 2.

The Sarnia Police Service said all the parties are known to each other, and the investigation is ongoing.
