Lambton OPP have arrested two suspects in the death of a young child in November 2020.
On November 20, at around 3 p.m., police and EMS responded to a home on Penrise Street in St. Clair Township for a report of an unresponsive infant.
Two people were taken into custody on September 15 following a probe by the OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch.
Brock MacPherson, 30 of St. Clair Township, and Elizabeth McPhail, 30 of Sarnia, have both been charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death.
The child was identified as nine-month old Tressa MacPherson.
Both suspects have been released from custody following bail hearings.
