Federations of Ag to host all-candidates forum

Residents will be able to hear from Lambton-Kent-Middlesex candidates campaigning in the federal election during an outdoor all-candidates forum Tuesday night.

The meeting is being hosted by the Lambton, Kent, and Middlesex Federations of Agriculture.

The forum will start at 7 p.m. at the new outdoor pavilion at the Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Centre Complex. The main entrance is at the corner of Park Street and Morrell Street in Alvinston.

Candidates will be given three minutes each to make opening remarks and a moderator will ask pre-submitted questions. No questions will be taken from the floor. The forum is expected to last until 9 p.m.

Residents are asked to bring lawn chairs and to social distance from other attendees. It's also recommended that residents pre-register to attend the forum by filling out a form online. Details provided are for contact tracing purposes and will only be disclosed to Lambton Public Health if it's requested.

Lambton-Kent-Middlesex candidates include incumbent Conservative Lianne Rood, Liberal Party candidate Sudit Ranade, NDP candidate Jason Henry, PPC candidate Kevin Mitchell, and Green Party candidate Jeremy Hull.
