In a tweet, Warwick Township Mayor Jackie Rombouts announced her choice against the vaccine passport.
"I will refuse the Ontario vaccine passport and will not patron any business or organization that will not welcome all my fellow Ontarian's equally," Rombouts said. "I am prepared to accept any discrimination that will inevitably come my way as a result of this decision and will vehemently defend the rights of others to do the same."
With Rombouts' official statement regarding the Ontario COVID-19 vaccine, health officials continue to vocalize the importance of taking the vaccine.

As the pandemic continues, health officials are also concerned that an incoming fourth wave can be the worst yet as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the province.
