Sarnia police are asking for help from the public in identifying two suspects after military items were reported stolen.

Police said a Canadian Military issued CADPAT backpack and helmet were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in a driveway in the 200 block of Washington Court in Sarnia.

The theft took place between the evening hours of August 25 and the early morning hours of August 26.

Clothes that were inside the backpack were later found on the front lawn of a residence in the 400 block of Autumn Breeze Drive.

Through video surveillance, police were able to see two suspects biking in the area shortly before 3 a.m. on August 26. Sarnia police have shared a video, which can be found below, asking if residents are able to recognize the two.
