UPDATE: Environment Canada ends heat warning for Sarnia-Lambton

Environment Canada has ended a heat warning for Sarnia-Lambton.

After several days of hot and muggy weather with humidex values reaching close to 40 C, the weather agency has finally called off the alert for the area.

While Friday will remain fairly warm with a daytime high expected to reach 27 C feeling more like 34 C with the humidity, cooler and less humid air is forecast to arrive by the weekend, with a return to more seasonal temperatures.
