Parents urged to give kids ‘stranger danger’ refresher

Lambton OPP are urging parents to talk to their kids about stranger danger.

Police said they have received complaints recently in the area of Grand Bend and Pinery Provincial Park, and are reminding residents and visitors to the area to be mindful of their surroundings, and cautious of new acquaintances.

Officers are urging parents to keep a watchful eye on younger children, and to remind teens about safety in numbers among trusted friends.

Further details about the complaints have not been released yet, and police say an investigation is ongoing. The complaints were made to OPP between July 18 and July 24.
