A 30-year-old Camlachie man faces impaired driving and drug possession charges after allegedly driving all over the road at speeds much lower than the posted limit.
Sarnia police were contacted about an erratic driver in area of Michigan Avenue and Modeland Road at around 7:50 p.m. Sunday.
An officer located the suspect vehicle, approached the driver side and noticed a strong odour of alcohol emitting from inside the vehicle as well as two open beer cans in plain view.
Police conducted a roadside breath test of the suspect, resulting in a fail and the driver being arrested. During a search of the vehicle, police located a bag of suspected cocaine.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in Sarnia court September 8.
