A body has been recovered from the St. Clair River near the Blue Water Bridge.
Port Huron Police said that divers with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department made the discovery around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
A search began in the morning after a passerby heard a splash and saw an unresponsive person in the river.
Sarnia Fire Rescue, Lambton OPP and other first responders assisted in the search.
Identification of the individual was planned Friday.
The border crossing into the United States was closed before 6:30 a.m. for about an hour.
