Lambton OPP charged two people with impaired driving Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on St. Clair Street in Point Edward at 1:20 p.m.
The driver was taken to Sarnia Police Headquarters for further testing after officers suspected him of being impaired.
A 32-year-old Sarnia man was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.
Lambton OPP were then called to investigate a suspicious vehicle in Plympton-Wyoming around 4 p.m.
The vehicle was located on Bonnie Doon Road, just north of Camlachie, and a traffic stop was initiated.
Officers administered a roadside test and the driver was taken to the detachment. Police said the driver provided two samples over the legal limit.
A 39-year-old Plympton-Wyoming resident was charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The driver was released from custody and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
