UPDATE: One robbery suspect arrested, police search for second

Sarnia police have arrested one man wanted on serious charges related to a June 13 robbery.

It's alleged the victim went to a motel on London Line, at the request of the suspects, regarding an outstanding matter.

Police said the two accused demanded money from the victim and began to threaten and assault him. The victim was allegedly taken to another location, against his will, but was able to escape and get help.

Police said Brennan Lee Erdodi, 35, of Sarnia, was spotted leaving a Victoria Street residence at around 7 p.m. Wednesday, and following a brief foot pursuit he was taken into custody.

Michael James Coolman, 42, also of Sarnia, is wanted on outstanding warrants for robbery with a weapon, forcible confinement, assault, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Coolman faces two additional charges for failing to comply with a release order.
