Woman charged after vicious stabbing in Sarnia

A 31-year-old woman has been charged after a male victim was stabbed several times in Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Service said officers responded to Roger Street near Maxwell Street on Friday after a male of unknown age was stabbed twice in the chest and once under his right eye.

The victim suffered two punctured lungs was rushed to hospital in critical condition. He has since undergone surgery and is now in stable condition.

As a result of a police investigation, 31-year-old Katie Johnson has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the stabbing.
