The Ontario Hockey League is targeting a start date of Thursday, October 7 for the 2021-22 season.
The league is planning to have a full 68 game schedule, with players reporting to training camp on September 4.
The 2022 OHL Playoffs will get underway on Thursday, April 7 and run through Monday, May 30 at the latest.
The OHL champion will advance to the 2022 Memorial Cup presented by Kia to be held June 2-12.
In a news release Thursday, OHL Commissioner David Branch said he was "looking forward to welcoming fans back into arenas" next season.
The league is planning to release a full schedule in the coming weeks.
