Catholic board investigating after online students exposed to inappropriate material

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board says it's conducting a thorough investigation after online students were exposed to inappropriate material.

Communications Supervisor Todd Lozon said there were three incidents at two Sarnia schools where an individual, believed to be a student, gained access to a Google online classroom meeting. He said the individual used inappropriate language and displayed inappropriate images to the class.

Lozon said teachers immediately shut down the Google session, parents have been notified and the matter has been reported to Sarnia police.

He said the board is investigating and has taken measures to address the concern.
