Sarnia police seized a significant quantity of crystal meth and cocaine in a drug bust on Exmouth Street Wednesday.
Members of the Vice Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block at around 4:25 p.m.
Police said a suspect began to run from the home when they arrived, but he was taken into custody without further incident.
They said a search of the home led to the seizure of 93.23 grams of cocaine with a street value of $11,187, 101.3 grams of crystal meth worth $10,130, and two 12 milligram hydromorphone capsules, worth $20.
About $1,850 in cash, and a brass knuckles/knife combo were also seized.
Richard Paul Meloche, 32, of Sarnia, is charged with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule one substance, unauthorized possession of a weapon, six counts of failing to comply with a release order, and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.
He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
