Shell Canada started planned maintenance at its Sarnia Manufacturing Centre at Corunna Friday.

Through the Aamjiwnaang Notification System, the company said additional flaring and intermittent noise is expected over ten days.

Additional contractors will be on site for routine inspection and maintenance of a shared pipeline.

No traffic increases are anticipated near the site on St. Clair Parkway or LaSalle Line.

The work is to begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. each day.
