A spike in resolved COVID-19 cases lowered Sarnia-Lambton's active infections Tuesday.
Lambton Public Health reported 17 new cases for a total of 2,643, but recoveries went up 40 to 2,376. As a result, the active case count decreased by 23 to 220.
There were 13 active institutional and school outbreaks, down one from Monday. An outbreak declared on March 9 at Landmark Village where one staff member had tested positive, has ended.
COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health dropped from five to three Tuesday.
