Pharmacists in Sarnia are being urged to be vigilant as city police investigate several incidents of prescription fraud for narcotics.
Police said suspects who have gained credentials from a local doctor's office, contact the pharmacy and ask to have a prescription filled on behalf of their patient who is in town.
Someone is then sent to pick up the drugs under a false name. Police believe the suspects are all from out of town.
Anyone with concerns is asked to call Sarnia police.
