There was a leak of Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) at Shell Corunna Monday evening.
In a Facebook post the company said an odour was noticed at about 5:45 p.m. It referred to the release as being small and that the product was contained on site and did not reach Talfourd Creek.
Shell said there were no injuries or exposures reported, and that air monitoring by both staff and an independent contractor had not shown any readings.
The Spills Action Centre was notified and a Community Awareness Emergency Response notification code issued.
