It's been one month since a 66-year-old Sarnia woman was found murdered in her Essex Street home.
Sarnia police said Tuesday that evidence in the investigation is still being processed and Criminal Investigations Branch detectives continue to follow up on information.
Cst. John Sottosanti said police are still appealing to the public for help.
"This is not just something that happens and just disappears," said Sottosanti. "We believe that there are people out there that may have some sort of information or belief that would assist in this investigation because of possible direct dealings with the person involved, to something they may have heard."
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sgt. Johann Lewis at 519-344-8861, extension 6200, or the Criminal Investigations Branch Information Line at 519-344-8861, extension 5300.
Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers is also offering double the normal $2,000 maximum reward for information that leads to the arrest of anyone involved in the murder.
