The Canada-U-S border will continue to be locked down to non-essential travel until at least the spring.
Federal Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair announced Friday that the border closure has been extended to March 21, at which time, the closure will be in place for one full year.

Restrictions were set to expire on February 21.
