Sarnia police again reach out to public in Essex Street murder investigation

Sarnia police are again appealing to the public for help as they continue to investigate the homicide of 66-year-old Sue Elin Lumsden.

She was found dead at her home in the 200 block of Essex Street on January 23.

In a statement issued Wednesday, police said thanks to members of the public working with them, suspects involved in a murder on Devine Street were arrested.

"Detectives now believe that with the assistance of our community we will be able to arrest those involved in the Essex Street murder," the statement read. "Ms. Lumsden was a very dedicated member of our community and now it is our turn to do the right thing and bring those involved to justice."
