Trial of woman in Warwick murder case further delayed to 2021

The trial of a Lambton County woman charged in the death of a man in Warwick village in 2018, is now set for April of next year.

Tina George was 34 in late April 2018 when she was arrested and charged with second degree murder following the death of Jesse Storr.

Legal counsel for George, Richard Braiden of London, appeared on her behalf via teleconference in the Superior Court of Justice in Sarnia Friday morning. Justice Russell Raikes set a date of April 6, 2021 for the start of the trial that was originally scheduled for May and then December of 2020.

George was granted bail in May of 2018.

Storr, a 29-year-old father of three, was found in a home on Egremont Road at around 2:30 p.m. April 29, 2018 after OPP had responded to a report of an injured man.

He was treated by paramedics and later died of his injuries.
