Sarnia's lacklustre 2020 building totals received a big boost in October.
A $12 million permit was issued for a sanitary sewer pump station on Plank Road near Indian Road South.
There were 43 permits issued by city hall with a total construction value of $17.1 million.
The year-to-date total is now $62.8 million, almost on par with 2019's pace.
Six permits were issued in October for single-family homes for a yearly total of 48, three more than last year through 10 months.
