Man arrested in Amherstburg charged with murder in Kettle & Stony Point

A suspect wanted in connection with a death at Kettle and Stony Point has been arrested in Amherstburg and charged with murder.

On Monday, November 9, Windsor police officers responded to a tip that the suspect may be in their jurisdiction. Officers contained an area in the Town of Amherstburg and were able to locate and arrest the suspect without incident.

Evan Wolfe, 26, of Kettle and Stony Point, has been charged with first degree murder in connection with a death at the First Nation on Sunday.

Police were actively searching for Wolfe in connection with the incident, who they said was considered armed and dangerous.

Wolfe is being held in custody pending a bail hearing in Sarnia, and an investigation into the death is ongoing.
