The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is reporting a significant methamphetamine seizure that occurred earlier this month at the Blue Water Bridge.
Officers seized about $400,000 worth of meth, just over three kilograms, found in the trunk of a passenger vehicle that was trying to enter Canada Saturday, October 17.
The CBSA said the search occurred after the driver had failed to stop at the primary checkpoint.
Two Grand Rapids, Michigan residents were arrested by the RCMP and charged with importation of a schedule one substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
