Three Sting players on preliminary Central Scouting list

Three Sarnia Sting players are included on NHL Central Scouting's Preliminary Players to Watch list for the 2021 NHL Draft.

Forwards Ty Voit and Nolan Dann are listed as "C" level prospects, meaning they are projected to be chosen between rounds four and six.

Goalie Ben Gaudreau is rated a "B" level prospect, which could see him taken in the second or third round.

Voit played 49 games in his rookie campaign, putting up eight goals and 20 assists.

Dann suited up for the OJHL's Georgetown Raiders where he scored 26 goals and had 48 assists in 52 games. He played one game for the Sting as a late-season call-up.

Gaudreau's rookie season saw him post a record of 10-13-2 with a 4.34 GAA and .890 save percentage.

Overall, the list includes 25 forwards, 16 defencemen and five goaltenders.

All 20 of the OHL's member teams are represented on the list led by the Ottawa 67's with five players followed by the Hamilton Bulldogs with four.
