Emergency crews responded to a truck fire on the eastern edge of the city limits on Friday afternoon.
Pictures sent to Blackburn News from Mark Moran show flames engulfing a black truck and smoke billowing into the air on Confederation Line, just east of Brigden Road.
Police were closing off the area to traffic and the fire department was responding.
