A 16-year-old is charged after allegedly fabricating an attempted abduction last month in Forest.
Police were called to Prince Street at around 1 p.m. on September 1.
The OPP initially said a man attempted to drag the male victim into the back seat of a vehicle before the teen was able to escape.
The Lambton County youth has been charged with public mischief under the Criminal Code of Canada.
