Lambton Public Health active case count at zero

For the first time since March 25, there are no active cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton.

On its website Tuesday night, Lambton Public Health reported the one active case had recovered.

To date, there have been 347 confirmed cases of the virus in the community, of which 322 have been deemed resolved.

The death toll is unchanged since June 6 at 25.

Of the local deaths, 16 were linked to outbreaks at long-term care and retirement homes. The last institutional outbreak in Sarnia-Lambton was declared over on July 2.

Across Ontario Tuesday, 548 new infections were reported as well as seven related deaths.
