Ten nominated for chief of Kettle and Stony Point

Ten people have been nominated as candidates for chief of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.

Incumbent Jason Henry is joined on the list by former chiefs Thomas Bressette and Elizabeth Cloud.

78 individuals have been nominated to serve on the nine member band council.

Candidates have until Wednesday, October 7, to withdraw their name from the ballot.

Votes can be cast for chief and council members Friday, November 13.

Mail-in ballots are also available for those unable to vote in person.
