OPP locate stolen vehicle, weapon, drugs at Highland Glen

Officers on patrol at Highland Glen Conservation Area seized drugs, a weapon and a stolen vehicle early Tuesday morning.

Lambton OPP said officers spotted a parked vehicle at about 1:30 a.m. at the conservation area.

While speaking with the three people inside the vehicle, officers observed drug paraphernalia and further investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen.

While searching the vehicle, police located a weapon and suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl.

A 33-year-old woman, a 37-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old man, all from Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, were arrested.

They are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance.

All three were released and are scheduled to appear in Sarnia court in November.
