Organizers say Sarnia's virtual Terry Fox Run, held on Sunday, brought in $22,200 in support of cancer research.
Sunday marked the 40th annual Terry Fox Run across Canada and 29th in Sarnia.
In 2019, the local runs raised $51,343 with another $40,787 coming from area schools.
Sarnia-Lambton’s Terry Fox runs have raised around $1.36 million since inception.
Donations are still being accepted at www.terryfox.org.
Those who weren't able to take part in Sunday's event can still get together with people in their bubble and do so this week.
