Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID cases drop to one

For the first time since March 25, Sarnia-Lambton is reporting just one active case of COVID-19.

Lambton Public Health is reporting another recovered case of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

The local health agency's COVID update Wednesday night said 317 of the 343 confirmed cases of the virus locally have been deemed recovered.

The death toll stands at 25, leaving one active case.

Since the pandemic started, Lambton Public Health has received results from 25, 279 tests, of which 98.6 per cent have been negative for the virus.
